Vivid Color has long been the trademark of Renee's floral and still life paintings. She loves capturing the essence of a place as is seen in the paintings from her travels. After retiring to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with her husband four years ago, she became interested in the ever changing weather patterns found at the coast. Many of her land and seascapes reflect these influences and have an atmospheric quality that describe both the place and a feeling about it. Whether painting at home or in her travels, she loves painting the beauty around her.

Her work is displayed in her home studio in Southern Shores NC by appointment and at the Dare County Arts Council gallery in Manteo NC, and the Currituck County Arts Council Gallery.
